Step 1 – Look for property listing on https://vancouver.craigslist.org/

Step 2 – Email or Call landlord to set up a viewing time.

If you have a friend or relative, they can help you to view the property. DO NOT make any deposit or fund transfer until you view the property / meet the landlord. Beware of scammers, if it is too good to be true, it shouldn’t be true.

Step 3 – Prepare payslips and proof of funds to be submitted to the landlord

Step 4 – Sign lease (Usually 1 year contract and then monthly renewal)
